You'll learn everything about your sewing machine, from threading and basic maintenance to using different stitches effectively. We'll cover understanding machine dials and settings, mastering control over fabric, and ensuring consistent stitching. Throughout the course, you'll start with simple projects to build confidence and progress to more challenging ones. Topics include reading patterns, basic hand-sewing techniques, handling buttons, zippers, buttonholes, and working with various fabric types from easy to more intricate materials. Requirements: Sewing machine and accessories (these include: machine feet, bobbins, needles, scissors, seam ripper, measuring tape, hand needles, machine needles, straight pins, thread, scraps of fabric, pen and paper).
