Description: |
This course, which is a requirement of the full Gas Technician 2 certification, focusses on topics from Modules 10-16 of the Technical Standards and Safety Authority approved curriculum. The course is delivered through distance learning and the topics include advanced piping and tubing systems, basic electricity, controls (mechanical and electronic), building as a system, domestic and non-vented appliances, meters, valves and domestic gas fired refrigerators. Upon completing this course, students will understand how to install, service and maintain gas-fired appliances.
Prerequisite: Gas Technician 3 certificate
